The ASTM B127 UNS N04400 is a copper-nickel alloy that has added aluminum, molybdenum, columbium, titanium and iron in its chemical composition. The ASTM B127 UNS N04400 plates have high strength and good corrosion resistance properties. They have good forability, weldability and are heat treatable. They show some great mechanical properties and are available in a variety of sizes. The UNS N04400 plates have a high tensile & yield strengths and come in different finishes (hot & cold rolled).

The UNS N04400 annealed plate can resist rapidly flowing brackish water or seawater, hence they are perfect for seawater applications. N04400 can also resist hydrochloric or hydrosulphuric acids in deaerated conditions.
