Hastelloy C22 is a nickel, chromium and molybdenum alloy that shows enhanced resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. The Hastelloy c22 plate can resist the formation of grain boundary precipitate in the heat affected weld zone. Thus, they are suitable for use in as-welded conditions. The alloy c22 can resist both oxidizing and reducing media along with harsh environments.
The C22 material can be easily cold welded as it has high ductility. They are generally stiffer than the austenitic ss grades and can be heat treated at 2050 °F. The Nickel alloy c22 plates are mostly available. They have high thermal stability and good workability against corrosive environments. Due to these properties, the plates can be used in industries like construction, shipbuilding, petrochemical, offshore & onshore, etc.

The composition of the Alloy C22 plate is such that it can withstand chloride ion induced stress corrosion cracking, pitting and crevice corrosion. The high molybdenum content improve its resistance to the seawater environment. C22 can also resist oxidizing and reducing environments, which means they can tackle unpredictable marine situations.

The Alloy C22 sheet material is quite expensive due to its chemical composition and mechanical properties. However, the exact price of ISO 6208 sheet varies with the supplier, their internal costings and market conditions. The cost is also dependent on the size & dimensions, customization required, quantity ordered and location. You can contact reputed C22 sheet manufacturers like Regent Steel & Engineering Co. who offer high quality, customized products at competitive rates.
If you want to know what Is the difference between Hastelloy C22 And C276, then consider the following:
The readings on the Hastelloy C22 plate weight calculator can vary with the thickness. The standard C22 plate thickness ranges between 0.5-6 mm and more, depending on specific application requirements. Typically, their hardness range between 20 to 30 HRC when solution annealed. However, the hardness can change depending on cold working and heat treatment.
