An Inconel 601 Pipe is designed to avoid and resist high temperatures in oxidized atmospheres while treating metals and materials. Ideal sizes of this material ranges between 0.5in to 8in, with nickel content ranging between 58-63%, 21-25% chromium, 1-1.70% aluminium, 1 % copper, 1% manganese, 0.50% silica, 0.10% carbon, 0.01% Sulphur and balance amount of iron.
In glass making and metal industries, you would see utilization of this material widely in sheathing materials and also in oxygen injection tubes. It has a good tensile strength ranging between 80 to 110 mpa, yield strength between 25-55 mpa, Elongation value between 35-65% and hardness value between 70-95%.
We supply this product on a large scale. Specification and related precise information have been provided at our website regentsteel.com with reasonable rates quoted.
There are wide range of applications due to unique characteristics which alloy 601 pipes. But we also need to look over to the extent we can make use of alloy 601 pipe to understand its extreme conditions that it can withstand.
alloy 601 pipe
Inconel 601 seamless pipe
UNS N06601 welded pipe
Although Inconel 601 seamless pipes have high-temperature strength and provide better oxidation resistance, it is found to crack under certain conditions.
This is often seen where employees do not have experience and apply much force to it. But you can still try to fix it if you apply straightening force under control.

There are a lot of properties that can define a UNS N06601 welded pipe which also proves to be prominent material in application (keeping in mind in which conditions it is needed).
But classification of this pipe is primarily understood by considering chemical composition, mechanical and physical properties. Following are elaborated properties of nickel alloy 601 seam welded pipe:
This material is known to be non-magnetic due to higher contents of nickel (ranging between 58-63%). It can however combine with elements such as chromium and carbon. Even at medium temperatures, it is found that pure nickel exhibits magnetic behaviour.
But since it combines with chromium and carbon, magnetic properties are reduced at a large scale. There are also scenarios in which if it is rubbed against another alloy, it efficiently lowers the efficient reduction of magnetic properties.
When we describe WNR 2.4851 annealed pipe in reinforcing conditions, it exhibits good impact resistance. It tends to provide excellent stiffness, strength and pliant or adaptable properties, making it to withstand extreme forces such as heat tolerance, corrosion properties, etc.
When speaking with respect to impact resistance, it is not widely recognised or classified to be the only exception factor of this annealed pipe. Despite this, it has the ability of the annealed pipe to deliver good mechanical properties at elevated temperatures.
