Incoloy 800 has nickel, iron and chromium in its alloy and they show good resistance to high temperature corrosion and oxidation. The Incoloy 800 plate also shows high strength and stability up to 1500 °F. Incoloy 800 material has an austenitic crystalline structure which provides good ductility and toughness. Their corrosion resistance properties are valid across different aqueous media and they can also withstand stress corrosion cracking. The Werkstoff NR. 1.4876 Cold Rolled Plate can also resist carburization & sulfidation along with creep & rupture strengths.
Due to the chemical composition of BS 3072NA15 Plate, they possess good physical properties. Incoloy 800 has min tensile strength of 520 Mpa and min yield strength of 205 Mpa. They have a high melting point of 2525 °, which is why the UNS N08800 plate can be used in high temperature and harsh conditions. The Incoloy 800 plate supplier offer the products for use in heat exchangers, furnaces, ovens, etc.
Heating elements help convert electrical energy to heat through Joule heating. The Incoloy 800 sheet material is known as a heating element as it has a high melting point. It also possesses excellent corrosion resistance and good thermal stability at extreme temperatures.

The alloy 800 plate is capable of maintaining its austenitic structure even after being exposed to high temperatures for a long period. Thus, they can be used as furnace components or heat exchangers in industries like chemical processing, petrochemical, power generation, etc.
The Incoloy 800 strip shows good stability for services up to 1500 °F. However, the Alloy 800 Strip requires a heat treatment of min 2100 °F.
Machining Inconel 800 plate can be difficult because of its high strength at elevated temperatures. Also, Incoloy 800 has a tendency to work harden at the time of machining. They also have low thermal conductivity which might cause the heat generated during machining to not efficiently dissipate which causes localized heating and wearing of the machining tools.
